We're going big for our last home game of the season and the full Michigan Marching Band will take you "Into the Jazz Club!" Our halftime show, based on the musical "Chicago,” features several classics including "Cell Block Tango," and "Nowadays," with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb.
We would like to express our gratitude to Jeff and Kristin Walters for their generous support of the Michigan Marching Band, in honor of Abby and Jacob’s time with the band and their wedding in November 2024.

Deserts are vast, beautiful, even otherworldly. They make our imaginations run wild with stories of lawless cowboys in the American Southwest, great caravans of travelers in the Arabian desert, or even gargantuan sandworms in a fictional desert planet. The MMB explores each of these desert worlds this Saturday with our show, “Desert Music.”

As part of Military Appreciation Day at Michigan Stadium, the MMB honors all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces with our musical tribute: "Rhapsody in Red, White, and Blue." Our all-American salute includes music from Gershwin's famous jazz-influenced "Rhapsody in Blue," Copland's nostalgic "Appalachian Spring," and concludes with our National March, "The Stars and Stripes Forever" by John Philip Sousa.
